Christmas Time!

Life has been so busy the last few weeks with work, friends, shopping, parties.

I love christmas time and I feel like so often the meaning behind christmas is forgotten.


We had our family christmas last night with my mom and dad and brothers.. went really well. I agree with my dad about feeling truly blessed this year. For some reason christmas just felt good this year and we are all happy and God has blessed all of us in so many ways.

My parents were supposed to leave this morning around 3 or 4? whenever my dad woke up however my mom went to bed last night and my dad as well and my friends and i went downstairs to watch a movie and my mom comes down about a half hour later and goes " your not going to beleive what your dad did.... we are leaving now... he got out of bed woke me up and said we are going i cant sleep! " so needless to say they took showers and hooked up the trailer with the harley and headed out at 8 last night! so they are just about into florida . please pray for safe travel. This will be the first christmas not being with my family but I have so many familes and people who have taken me in and told me I am more than welcome to their homes. Its amazing to see how many people love you. There are so many people in my life that mean so much to me.

Devan flies out monday and comes back next sunday

I am so glad they got a chance to all go see grandma and spend christmas in florida!

I know a few of you are wondering why im not going as well!? ... I have to work :( but on the plus side i picked up some extra hours and will be making some extra money !

Hopefully I will be able to get some time off in Feb to go down and see some of my friends and family from school so that will be a very enjoyable trip :)

Busy Busy :)

I have definatly been slacking on updating!

Things have been going very well

Been working a ton of hours and spending time with friends and family

I decided it was time that I needed to post some pictures so here they are :)

I was able to watch manda and kyle's girls this weekend while they went away and they were absolutly adorible and did such a great job!Selah hung out with me friday morning.. they took a nap in the afternoon and then we had pizza and fri night went to crazy bounce and out for icecream :)

Okay I need to get ready for both jobs so I guess I better finish uploading more later :)

Unexplained Answers

I am understanding more and more every day that God has our life in his hands.

There are times that we dont understand where we are or where we are going but he know :)


I am so thankful for everything God has given me. He has blessed my family and I in so many ways. Its amazing how much we can take for granted!



Life has been so busy lately ..

Last week I had an allergic reaction and they are still not completly sure what caused it but they think it is the medication I was on for my narcolepsy.

Tuesday night- Broke out itching in hives

Wednesday night- Work was awful just because I itched everywhere and my feet started getting pain.. went to Holland ER ... they told me it was just an allergic reaction put me on some steriods

Thursday - went to the doctor and they had no idea what was causing it just kept me on the steriods nothing new was really changed

Friday night- Went to zeeland ER .. throught was getting swollen and was itching all over and getting extremly painful joints and hands and feet. they did a bunch of blood work nothing came back wrong, extended my steriods and put me on atarax to stop the itching

Sat- awful spent the whole day sleeping

Sun- Went to chuch, had awful itching spells still and painful joints went to work and didnt make it the whole night .

Mon- back to the doctor again this time they determined they are completly confused they have no idea whats causing my reactions. stopped narcolepsy medication, referred me to an allergist, told me no work for a week due to the fact i have no strength , and itching and feet and hands swell up to unknown allergic reactions.


So this is where we are now its wed and I am doing pretty good still breaking out and still have reactions but not near as bad as they were.


I am really hoping the allergist will be able to explain some more unexplained questions.




Other than that whole long episode and interesting weekend I was able to spend some time with friends and family which was exciting. lots of monopoly games were played :)


I am trying to decide on what to do with school. Going to florida, staying here???? its all up in the air

we will see in time where things go... I need to just remember that only God knows where I am going and what is happening in life! everything will work out in the end! :)

I feel as though I have so many different roads I could take and it is sooo hard to try and decide which one to follow. I know that I need to just continue to pray about it and follow God's word but it is easier said than done :)



Other than my venting ..


Life is going pretty well.


Started on a new medication for the narcolepsy and is causing some weird mood swings and anxiety.. but hopefully it will tone down the more i take it


church is amazing I love the new church and am planning on switching my membership over. :)
so excited to see what plans God has for me


Friends- is interesting.. our group has just taken a huge turn this week and its tough but we willl all get through it


looking at going back to Florida for college ... I think it would be a good thing for me

New Blog!

Ok,

So I have decided that if my cousins can work this thing and my mom I can too :) I am going to attempt to try and use this again and see if I can make it work this time!

Hopefully I will be able to upload pictures and update on life :)


Things have been going super well! Working a ton of hours, hanging out with friends, deciding on school choices but all fairly well :)

I have off work tomorrow! I am hanging out with some friends

Sat - Wed I work 3-11

Then I have 4 days off and no plans!


I meet with muskegon tomorrow to find out about classes and the nursing program.. hopefully all will go well


pray for me. im attempting to make a lot of life decisions. :) I am suddenly feeling grown up
